Dr. Li Jie graduated from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Science of Wuhan University in 2010; received his Ph.D. from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of Peking University in 2015, under the tutelage of Professor Chen Peng; and subsequently worked at the Scripps Institute in the United States, Professor Barry Sharpless (Nobel Prize winner, Priestley Prize winner) laboratory and Professor Peng Wu’s laboratory received scientific research training; joined the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University at the end of 2018; joined the Institute of Chemistry and Biomedicine Innovation (part-time PI) of Nanjing University in 2019, and was selected as Jiangsu in 2019 Distinguished Professor. Its research direction highlights the research characteristics of "chemical tools + tumor immunity", explores the frontier of chemical immunology, and makes full use of chemical tools such as click chemistry, glycochemistry and directed evolution to study basic immune problems and develop new immunotherapies.
